Emergence of Armazéns Gerais Columbia. Due to World War II and economic embargo there was the need of creating a structure to storage export products.
1959
ECOM settles in coffee trading.
1978
Armazéns Gerais Columbia achieves the First Concession of Dry Port in Brazil.
1980
Expansion of the range of stored products: electronics, clothing, beverages, machinery, chemicals and other products with high added value.
1985
Presence in all customs borders of Brazil.
1999
We started our International Trade services with the opening of Eximtrading, currently Columbia Trading. The activities of Storage, Dry Port and Transportation were nowunder Armazéns Gerais Columbia S.A.
2010
Armazéns Gerais Columbia is sold to Ecorodovias Group, and Columbia S.A. emerges for operations of integrated logistics, storaging and transportation. Columbia Trading is still linked to Columbia S.A.
2018
Columbia Trading figured as one of the three largest Trading companies of the sector in Brazil, according to Valor 1000 Magazine (2018 edition).
